Your Gadebridge team welcomed and supported Dacorum Borough Council’s decision to build 9 new flats at St Peter’s Court when the Housing Association scheme fell through. The flats are being built to ‘Passivhaus’ standard which focuses on dramatically reducing heating costs.
Roger Taylor said: “This is a really exciting and innovative development. Not only will it be a vast improvement on the eyesore that was the site of the old St Peter’s Church, they will be the first council flats using the ‘Passivhaus’ system which we expect will mean that tenants’ heating bills will be as low as £100 a year.”
The Gadebridge team will continue their work for car parking improvements. The council’s Verge Hardening Project has created over 60 additional car parking spaces in Gadebridge including 11 each in Fennycroft Road and Middleknights Hill and 10 each in Marlins Turn and Butts End.
