Andrew Williams MBE has dedicated many years to serving the people of Hemel Hempstead, currently representing Adeyfield East on Dacorum Borough Council and Hemel Hempstead East at Hertfordshire County Council.
A proud local resident, Andrew is passionate about standing up for his community and ensuring that residents’ voices are heard at every level of government. He is known for his strong work ethic, attention to detail, and commitment to delivering real results for local people.
Andrew has taken on a number of leadership roles during his time in public service, including serving as Leader of Dacorum Borough Council. In this role, he worked to keep council tax low, protect vital local services, and support regeneration and investment across the borough. His leadership helped guide Dacorum through challenging times while maintaining a clear focus on residents’ priorities.
Awarded an MBE for his services to local government and the community, Andrew has consistently gone above and beyond in his commitment to public service. Whether it’s supporting improvements to local infrastructure, championing high-quality services, or helping residents with individual concerns, he is always ready to step in and help.
In 2024, Andrew was honoured to be selected as the Conservative Parliamentary Candidate for Hemel Hempstead, giving him the opportunity to campaign for the area on a national stage and continue his long-standing commitment to the town.
