Alex Bhinder is a dedicated Dacorum Borough Councillor who has proudly represented Grovehill since first being elected in 2007.
A long-standing resident of Grovehill, Alex is known locally as someone who takes a hands-on approach to getting things done. Described as a real “doer,” he is never afraid to roll up his sleeves and tackle the issues that matter most to residents, whether that’s dealing with anti-social behaviour, improving local roads, or addressing environmental concerns.
Alex first stood for election out of a genuine desire to make a difference, motivated by concerns shared by many in the community, including litter, crime, development, and opportunities for young people. Since then, he has worked tirelessly to represent local voices and deliver practical improvements across the area.
He has built a strong reputation for being approachable, proactive, and willing to take on both everyday issues and more challenging local matters. From supporting youth initiatives and promoting litter awareness to helping shape the future of Grovehill through community projects, Alex remains deeply committed to the area he calls home.
Above all, Alex feels privileged to serve Grovehill and is passionate about ensuring the community continues to thrive, with strong representation and a clear voice at the council.
