Mark Woods

Chairman Hemel Hempstead Conservative Association.

I have always been a conservative. I am the conservative branch chairman in Little Gaddesden where my wife and I live. When I was elected as Chairman in 2019, I wanted to bring my work experience and skills to Hemel Hempstead Conservative Association (HHCA), by introducing new policies and processes to move the association forward.
Our goals for 2020 are to continue to increase membership. reduce the average age of our membership, and to steady the financial position of the Association after the turbulent year of 2019 with 4 Electoral Events including a General Election returning the Rt. Hon. Sir Mike Penning as our MP.
2020 looks another tough financial year with the Covid-19 epidemic having closed down activities within the Association and its Branches.

Your Officer Team and I have achieved much so far with more to do to modernise the Association and its processes and communications and to attract new members.
The more members we have the more successful the association will become, so please encourage people to join at

We are always on the look-out for talent. If you are interested in becoming a councillor, or can help us bring success to HHCA, please get in touch.
If you have something that you would like to bring to my attention or discuss with me please do!
