At election time, the Green Party often presents itself as a moderate environmental movement focused on local issues. But voters deserve to know what the party actually stands for nationally, because behind the slogans sits a radical agenda that would affect every family, business and community in Britain.

Official Green Party policy supports allowing Doctors and Pharmacists to dispense drugs including cocaine and heroin after a short “safety consultation”.
The Green Party has also questioned anti-terror laws and argued it should not necessarily be criminal to express sympathy for extremist organisations.
At a time when communities want safer streets and stronger policing, Conservatives are clear:

- Reducing motorway limits to 55mph
- Increasing taxes on motorists
- Cutting parking spaces
- Retesting drivers every five years
That is not practical environmentalism. It is an ideological attack on motorists. As Conservatives we believe in improving transport while recognising that families and businesses cannot simply abandon their cars overnight.
Conservatives Back Lower Taxes. Greens Want Higher Taxes on Homes and Savings.
Under Kemi Badenoch, the Conservative Party are making the case for lower taxes, economic growth and rewarding hard work. In contrast the Green Party has openly advocated:
- A 2% annual wealth tax
- Higher taxes on investment and savings
- A new land value tax that critics warn could hit family homes and gardens
Even Green Party leaders have admitted that under their plans “people probably do need to pay more tax”.
Hemel Conservatives believe residents should keep more of what they earn, not face ever-higher taxes to fund ideological experiments.

Conservatives are proud of Britain’s history, institutions and traditions while the Green Party officially supports abolishing the monarchy and facilitating the break-up of the United Kingdom.

The world is becoming more dangerous. Britain needs strong defence, support for NATO and a credible nuclear deterrent. Yet senior Green Party figures have questioned NATO membership and opposed Trident.
Conservatives understand that peace is secured through strength, not wishful thinking.
