A Clear Conservative Mission: Get Britain Working Again!

Conservative Party Leader Kemi Badenoch, has laid out a clear and uncompromising mission for the Conservative Party, and it’s one that Hemel Conservatives proudly stand behind.

This is about serious Conservative leadership. Not slogans. Not drift. But a plan rooted in common sense, responsibility, and fairness for those who play by the rules.

We stand for:

  • Strong borders and national sovereignty because a country that cannot control its borders cannot protect its people.
  • Economic freedom and growth cutting taxes that punish aspiration, backing businesses, and getting Britain working again.
  • Respect for taxpayers tackling waste, reforming welfare, and ending the culture of dependency on an ever-bigger state.
  • Backing British industry and jobs pursuing practical environmental policies that protect livelihoods rather than exporting jobs overseas.
  • Serious politics focused on delivery, not distractions; outcomes, not theatrics.

We are clear about what we reject:

  • Politics that chases the centre with no conviction;
  • Labour’s instinct to spend more, tax more, and control more;
  • And a politics that talks Britain down instead of building it up.

Our mission is simple and bold:

  • Get Britain working again.
  • Restore trust in politics on a local and national level.
  • Put families, workers, and communities first.
  • Build a confident Conservative Party that governs with purpose.

Hemel Conservatives stand firmly for freedom, responsibility, opportunity, and fairness. Conservative values that reward hard work, protect our country, and give the next generation something to believe in.

This is what we stand for. This is what we’re fighting for.
