Working Hard for Hemel Town Residents

Working Hard for Hemel Town Residents

As your Conservative Borough Councillor for Hemel Town, I want to reaffirm a simple message: I am here to serve and represent our community.

It is a privilege to represent residents across Hemel Town, and I take that responsibility seriously. From addressing anti-social behaviour to improving roads, pavements, and public spaces, the concerns raised by residents help shape the priorities I pursue at the council.

I know many households are facing financial pressures. That is why I remain committed to responsible financial management, keeping council tax as low as possible, and ensuring that every pound spent by the council delivers real value for local residents. Accountability and careful budgeting must always come first.

Supporting Local Businesses and a Vibrant Town Centre

A thriving town centre is essential for Hemel Town’s future. Our local businesses, from independent shops and cafés to restaurants, pubs, and service providers, are the backbone of our local economy and community life. I strongly support efforts to attract investment, encourage new businesses, and help existing ones succeed.

I will continue to champion a vibrant town centre that supports retail, hospitality, and small businesses, creating a welcoming place where residents want to shop, dine, and spend time. Supporting enterprise, promoting footfall, and ensuring Hemel Town remains an attractive destination are key priorities.

Community safety is also a key priority. Everyone deserves to feel safe in their home and neighbourhood. I continue to work closely with local Police, Council Officers, and community partners to ensure concerns are raised and addressed effectively.

Maintaining a clean and well-looked-after town matters greatly to residents. Whether it is reporting fly-tipping, chasing up repairs, improving lighting, or raising maintenance issues, I will continue to press for action and ensure that problems reported by residents are not ignored.

Listening to residents remains central to my work. Through meetings, emails, and conversations with residents, I am committed to being accessible, responsive, and transparent.

My focus is simple: practical action, strong representation, and standing up for the interests of Hemel Town. If you have an issue, concern, or idea, please do get in touch, I am always happy to help.
