WYATT-LOWE, Colette
Colette Wyatt-Lowe has lived in the borough for 30 years. She is married to William and has 3 adult children.
She was first elected as Councillor for Woodhall Farm Ward in 2003 with a slim majority and no previous political experience. After the hugely successful local elections of 2007 she increased her majority by over 400 votes almost doubling the votes cast in 2003. During the past 5 years she has gone from strength to strength bringing high levels of drive and commitment to everything that she does. A fellow Councillor recently described her as giving a gold standard service to her residents.
Colette has taken on a wide range of duties in addition to her role as ward Councillor. Since becoming a Councillor Colette has been a Vice Chair of Holtsmere End School Governing Body, Trustee of Woodhall Farm Community Association, Trustee of Dacorum Sports Trust, Member Champion for the Olympic Games, newly elected Chairman of the Dacorum Community Safety Partnership. In addition she was employed by Mike Penning MP from June 2005 – August 2007 as a Senior Case Worker in the Constituency office. She resigned from this role after being appointed Portfolio Holder for Community Services. In 2008 she was given additional responsibility as Portfolio Holder for Public Protection
